A filthy place to stay, even at such a lower price. Very very dirty lobby, passways, carpets seems like never washed and smelling as bad as they could with huge filthy marks on them... Same is the condition every where, whether it be your room, lobby or the room corridoors. Smell smell every where. Room beds were horrible, smelly and filthy, so were the room carpets. Washrooms were in very bad condition with cracked and leaking roofs... The room's roof was also cracked... The only good thing was the water pressure from the bath showers... Rest it was a nightmare staying in that hotel...
everything except the good water pressure from the bath showers. not at all recommended hotel.

Cheap! 500 Baht per night = to £10. Clean Sheets, Hot water, Air con. All neccessities were there. Great location, and tourist office just a couple buildings to the right.
It does smell old, it does need a lick of paint, however, you do get used to it, the smell goes away after a couple hours, and you have clean sheets and hot water. Great location for sightseeing in phuket.

I didn't like anything. This hotel gave the impression of luxurious from the outside but it was absolutely filthy..it had carpet everywhere full of horrible stains, our room smelt of damp due to the moulds in the walls..it was so depressing. It felt as if it had been abandoned, we called it the zombie hotel. We were glad to leave early the next morning.

The room is cheap and clean. There are 2 Halal Restaurants on Thalang road just 100 metres behind the hotel.

It is a cheap place. you get what u pay for. i like it because it is very thai. if you expect to be able to speak english with staff then dont stay here. the hot water is lukewarm and blackouts occur often, this means walking up several flights of stairs in the dark. ibe ready to argue the bill when u check out. Finally, the message room is really jusr ladies for hire.
Blackouts, dubious charging at check out

It was very cheap, 400 baht a night for aircon, minifridge, shower+bath, etc. close to the bus stop so we were able to walk from there, even carrying our luggage.
I got bitten by mosquitoes in the room and especially the hall ways and lobby, even with the windows closed in the room.

It is cheap and it has a good location.
It is really quite horrible, very very old (I assume it was an upscale hotel in 1960's or maybe even 1950's, but nothing has really changed since then). My room on the 5th floor had a horrible view of a dirty wall of another building and there were like 20 pigeons living on a balcony. It stinks too. The staff could barely speak English.

- Price: very inexpensive! And quite clean and tidy. - Location: in Phuket old town.
- (Some) staff not really professional or helpful as far as hotel service is concerned. - The rooms (at least those like the one I stayed in) need to be refurbished urgently --- but for the price, I can not complain about this.
